After a long wait, due to the cerfew, Irie Beatz is back with new Dj’s, new Singers and some crazy theme.
At the Overstay and Irie beatz we are all kinda Sci-fi geeks and for a long time we wanted to make a party that was Reggae and Space connected hence : “Rastanaught” .
Imagine a world where Rasta – cosmonaut (also called Rastanaught) went to deep space to find a new Zion, leaving Babylon behind. After a long journey they reach an abandoned planet, a modern version of Angkor Wat, where the skyscrapers are eaten away by giant trees… This is the set of our special Rastanaught Irie Beatz party ! So expect a tropical Overstay populated by Rastanaught !
As far as the Music goes we have the pleasure to host
Tony Rankin, old school reggae singer out of Brooklyn, New York is back at the Overstay, well respected Singjay Tony got some original tracks as well as reggae remixes of Jimmy Hendrix .He will be arriving the day before the event so The Overstay will be his first show in Asia this year.
Dj Fugitive on tour from the UK (Affiliated with Bristol’s Run Tingz Recordings and some of Londons finest selectas – Jumpin Jack Frost and Ramjack.) will be spinning some Dancehall and new roots.
Joining us as well Kalymistic Sound system represented by DJ Bartes hottest Raggamuffin DJ in the Kingdom of Thailand, we are very happy to have him back.
